Important Development Information

North Omak Business Park is a fully developed site, zoned light industrial and industrial commercial, and situated within the city limits of Omak. The property encompasses 118 acres of mostly flat, dry land with views of Omak, the Okanogan Valley and North Cascade Mountains, of which less than 74 acres are still available. US Highway 97, with traffic volumes of over 8,000 cars per day, borders the park on the east side. This provides convenient access to most of the population and businesses in the area which are located on the same side of the highway. Access is facilitated by four city streets which enter the site. Omak is the commercial hub of North Central Washington.

All of the property encompassed within North Omak Business Park has been placed under binding site plans. Consequently, any size parcel may be acquired without being subjected to a lengthy subdivision process. Additionally, Okanogan County is not subject to the guidelines of the Washington State Growth Management Act. Visibility and access from the highway are excellent. A traffic light at the main intersection has been authorized for installation by the WSDOT. This will enhance traffic flow in and out of the Park.

North Omak Business Park is the premier business location in North Central Washington. The Omak area is experiencing a growing economic climate. Recent changes include the Colville Indian Plywood and Veneer Plant startup operations, the opening of Home Depot and the expansion of the existing Wal-Mart to a Super Center, additionally Best Western, Big R, and Big 5. These projects, along with other new businesses, will create over a hundred new jobs. The current resident businesses include two successful motels, two restaurants, a medical clinic, an assisted living and retirement home, an assisted living and memory care community, an apartment complex, a large behavioral health clinic, and a church. The New Family Health Center broke ground in spring 2013. The physical resources available in the Park, combined with the easy life style and exceptional outdoor recreation, make North Omak Business Park a good choice when deciding on a new location for your business.
